Sol Hoopii In Hollywood. 
Here, for the first time since their original release eighty years ago are the complete recordings of Sol Hoopii originally released on the Sunset and Hollywood record labels in the
mid-twenties.
These historic recordings served as the prototype of what Hawaiian music was to become - a blending traditional and popular songs, and even Jazz. All featuring the unique style and musicmanship of Sol Hoopii.
Originally sold only in Southern California the original recordings are today rare, little known and long overdue for reissue.
Also included, as additional tracks, are all the
other known Hawaiian artists who made records for the Hollywood / Sunset labels:
Charles Fredericks Honolulu Syncopators,
Coppock’s Hawaiians and
Charles Diamond.
